Dr. Timothy Loughran has practised dentistry in Herrin since 1982. Across more than forty years he has cared for families throughout Southern Illinois, and he brings that experience to the general and cosmetic dentistry side of Hughes Dental Arts Implant Center.

Master of the Academy of General Dentistry

Dr. Loughran holds a Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry — the AGD’s highest honour, earned through hundreds of hours of continuing education and hands-on coursework completed after dental school. The year he received it, he was one of only three dentists in Illinois to do so.
